What’s the Job About?

The Product Specialist ensures Wingbuddy’s travel products stay accurate, competitive, and aligned with market and partner expectations. The role blends, coordination, and quality control supporting renewals, maintaining data accuracy, and helping launch new programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain travel package information in internal systems, including itineraries, pricing, hotel details, inclusions, and supplier information.
  • Assist with product renewals and updates by reviewing and validating existing program information.
  • Help manage inventory, availability, and stop sales updates.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure product information is accurate and aligned with company standards.
  • Communicate updates and changes to internal teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.
  • Support the launch of new travel products by uploading and validating product content in the system.
  • Assist the Product team with administrative, operational tasks and special projects as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively and ensure accuracy in data entry.
  • Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly across multiple departments while managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, able to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for creating exceptional travel experiences.

Assets:

  • Solid understanding of the travel industry, including tour packages, DMC partnerships, and market dynamics.
  • Prior experience in travel product management or a similar role, with a hands-on understanding of product lifecycle and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with online distribution platforms (e.g., TourRadar) and digital tools that streamline product updates and sales processes.
  • Strong grasp of pricing strategies and inventory management within the tourism sector, ensuring competitive and profitable offerings.
