VISA APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR EGYPT (For Canadian Citizens)

A visa is required for travelers holding a Canadian passport.

The visa can be obtained upon arrival in Egypt or by applying for an e-Visa before traveling.

Steps to Apply

1. Access the link above.

2. Select Egypt as your destination.

3. Complete the online application form with your personal and passport details.

4. Upload the required documents:

   • A copy of your passport’s information page (valid for at least 6 months after your arrival date)

   • A recent passport-style photo

   • If requested: your Wingbuddy invoice instead of a hotel reservation

5. Pay the visa fee online.

Upon Arrival in Egypt

• Present a printed copy of your e-Visa to the immigration officer.

• Keep your original passport and Wingbuddy invoice available if requested.

Important Notes

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry into Egypt.

• The tourist visa allows a stay of up to 30 days.

• You do not need to book a separate hotel — your Wingbuddy invoice serves as proof of accommodation.

• It is recommended to print a paper copy of your visa and Wingbuddy receipt before departure.
