Day 1: USA - Cairo (Egypt)
Departure flight to Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
Arrival at the airport in Cairo, a bustling metropolis that seamlessly blends ancient history with modern life. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting customs and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities of your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo
After breakfast, set out to see some of Egypt’s most iconic treasures. you will discover the world-famous pyramids of Giza. On the Giza Plateau just outside of Cairo, you will be impressed by the Pyramid of Cheops, the largest of the three pyramids, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one to remain largely intact. Stand before the legendary Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, remarkable monuments that have captivated travelers for centuries.
Following lunch, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to an impressive collection showcasing Egypt’s pharaonic history, including the renowned treasures of King Tutankhamun. Return to your hotel after dinner. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 4: Cairo – Luxor
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Nestled along the banks of the Nile River, Luxor is often referred to as the “world’s greatest open-air museum” and is renowned for its magnificent temples, ancient monuments, and rich pharaonic heritage.
Upon arrival, meet your local representative and continue to your Nile cruise for check-in. After lunch on board, head out to experience the magnificent Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, two of the city’s most remarkable ancient sites. The temple of Karnak, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the world. It is renowned for its grandiose columns, massive pylons, and intricate hieroglyphics, providing a glimpse into the religious and architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. Return to the cruise for dinner and your overnight stay on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 5: Luxor – Edfu
Begin your morning with breakfast on board. Today, take some time at leisure in Luxor to relax and soak up the atmosphere of this historic city at your own pace. Browse local shops, enjoy a coffee along the Nile, or simply unwind and take in the surroundings. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board as the scenery of the Nile unfolds along the journey. Day 6: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan
Start your day with a visit to the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt, built between 237 and 57 BC. Return to the cruise for breakfast before continuing your journey along the Nile toward Kom Ombo. Enjoy lunch on board and some free time in Kom Ombo before continuing toward Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 7: Aswan
After breakfast on board, experience some of Aswan’s highlights, including the High Dam, which provides electricity to the whole country. Your visit continues with a small boat ride to reach the beautiful Philae Temple, located on a small island, and dedicated to the goddess Isis. You will then take the road to see the unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk. Following lunch, take to the Nile aboard a traditional felucca for a relaxing sailing experience. Return to the ship for dinner and your overnight stay on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 8: Aswan
Begin the day with breakfast on board. Today you may choose to rise early for an excursion to the remarkable Abu Simbel Temples ($ payable on-site), returning to Aswan in the early afternoon. After lunch, enjoy some free time on board, including tea time on the sun deck. Spend another evening surrounded by the scenery of the Nile as you enjoy dinner and overnight accommodations on board. Day 9: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu
Enjoy some free time on board after breakfast, before sailing toward Kom Ombo. Savor lunch on board while the ship is sailing toward Kom Ombo, where you will visit a temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. You will discover a Nilometer on site and a small museum displaying mummified crocodiles. Return to the ship and navigation to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 10: Edfu – Luxor
Following breakfast aboard, enjoy some free time in Edfu before continuing your cruise toward Luxor. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board as you cruise along the Nile River, taking in the picturesque scenery and peaceful landscapes along the way. Overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 11: Luxor - Cairo
Following breakfast aboard, disembark and transfer for your flight back to Cairo.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy lunch before check-in at your hotel. You will then continue to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where colorful shops and traditional crafts create a lively atmosphere. After dinner, transfer to your hotel for your final overnight stay in Cairo. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Day 12: Cairo – USA
Today depart your hotel after breakfast and transfer for your return flight home bringing your Egyptian adventure to an end. (Breakfast)
