Arrival at the airport in Liberia. You will be greeted by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel or explore Rincon de la Vieja. 

Rincón de la Vieja National Park is known for its stunning natural beauty with its volcano geothermal activity, hot springs, and diverse wildlife. It's a popular destination for eco-tourism and adventure activities, offering hiking trails, waterfalls, and more!

After breakfast at your hotel, depart around 8:00 a.m. for a full-day adventure in the heart of the tropical forest. Explore the El Saino Nature Reserve on a scenic hike along nature trails and hanging bridges, offering incredible views and opportunities to spot local wildlife. The walk lasts approximately 60 minutes, depending on time spent on each of the 16 bridges, followed by lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the traditions and flavors of Guanacaste at the El Trapiche Cultural Center. Discover the artisanal process of sugar cane extraction, sample traditional sweets, enjoy local cuisine, and take part in a gourmet coffee tasting. You will also participate in hands-on activities such as crafting pre-Columbian ceramics and learning more about Costa Rica’s rich coffee culture.

Later, enjoy a one-hour Costa Rican cooking class highlighting the country’s culinary heritage, with the chance to prepare traditional dishes such as gallo pinto. The day concludes with pure relaxation at the Pacaya Hot Springs and Spa, located at the base of Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park. Return to your hotel for dinner at leisure and overnight in Rincón de la Vieja. (Breakfast – Lunch)

Breakfast and lunch at your hotel, followed by the rest of the day at leisure. Take today to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Rincón de la Vieja at your own pace. Suggested on-site activities may vary, but you might choose to relax in the nearby hot springs and volcanic mud baths, which offer a soothing and rejuvenating experience. (Breakfast – Lunch)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before getting transferred to Tamarindo, one of the most beautiful corners of Costa Rica. You will have a day at leisure to discover this lively beach town that combines high-end shopping, fine dining, and lively nightlife with amazing scenery. (Breakfast)

You will have the option to relax at the sandy beaches of Tamarindo, stroll through the town’s vibrant shops, or enjoy delicious seafood at beachfront restaurants. This town truly embodies the "Pura Vida" lifestyle, representing the laid-back and positive approach to life in Costa Rica. (Breakfast)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, immerse yourself in the culture of Costa Rica. Explore more in-depth the beauty of Tamarindo town or relax at your hotel. You can also opt for an optional half-day Catamaran Sailing Sunset tour ($). (Breakfast)

Optional Catamaran Sailing Sunset half-day tour ($):

At around 1pm, transfer from your hotel to the meeting point near the beach area. You will be sailing to one of the many pristine beaches in the area. On the way, you will be likely able to admire marine wildlife, especially turtles, dolphins, flying fish or whales. The crew will provide snorkel equipment and you will practice it for one hour approximately, looking for exotic sea life. You will also enjoy a varied lunch as well as an open bar including sodas, juices, beers, and some liquors. After lunch, you will return to the bay for a beautiful sunset along the beach shore. Once finished, transfer back to your hotel for the evening in Tamarindo.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer from Tamarindo back to Liberia at around 5pm. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day using the facilities or exploring on your own. (Breakfast)
