During your drive, you will pass through the magnificent Great Rift Valley and enjoy several viewpoints where you can pause to take in panoramic views of this geological wonder.
Arrive at Nakuru for lunch before heading out for your afternoon safari experience. This game drive will be along the shores of Lake Nakuru, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its breathtaking scenery and wildlife. It is a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos and is home to diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, and giraffes. You will visit viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff, Lion Hill, and Out of Africa Lookout, each offering postcard-perfect views. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara National Reserve
Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge. You will embark on an unforgettable journey southwest to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s crown jewel of wildlife conservation. This drive will take you through the town of Narok, a vibrant hub of Maasai culture, where traditional herders in colorful shukas share the landscape with modern life. Continue to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, your first game drive in the Maasai Mara will venture deep into the savanna to encounter the reserve’s iconic wildlife. Scan the plains for lions lounging under the trees, herds of elephants, giraffes browsing on treetops, and zebras and wildebeests grazing together. The guides will share insights about the animals’ behavior, the rich ecosystem, and the unique conservation efforts in the Mara. As the sun begins to set, enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in Maasai Mara. (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)
Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve

Lunch and some downtime at the lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. You will explore the Mara’s rich habitats with a possibility to spot the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino - alongside cheetahs, giraffes, gazelles, and a variety of birdlife. The Mara River and its channels teem with hippos and crocodiles, while the open plains host the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration (seasonal). Whether capturing wildlife on camera or experiencing cultural traditions, your days at Maasai Mara promise lifelong memories. Dinner and overnight stay in Maasai Mara. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)
Optional excursion: Hot-air balloon ride in the Maasai Mara ($):
At 5:00 AM, before setting off on today's safari, take a hot-air balloon ride over the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will drift silently above the plains at sunrise, watching herds of wildebeest and zebra roam, while lions prowl through the golden grass.
*The Great Migration takes place each year from July through October*
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve - Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out for your next adventure. You will depart with a picnic lunch box and drive to the border. Once there, you will change vehicles and complete immigration formalities, then proceed to Serengeti National Park with a game drive en route. Upon check-in, enjoy leisure time at the lodge.
As dusk falls, experience the breathtaking Serengeti sunset with a cocktail in hand. The day will conclude with a gourmet dinner under the African sky. Let the distant roars of lions and the calls of nocturnal birds provide the soundtrack to your first evening in one of the world’s most iconic wilderness areas! Overnight stay at the lodge (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner).
*Please note that a yellow fever vaccine is required to enter Tanzania.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)
Begin your day at first light and board your 4x4 safari vehicle. You will have the opportunity to spot large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. You will enjoy a bush breakfast in a secluded spot, before continuing your morning game drive before returning to the lodge for a short rest.
You will embark on a game drive across the Serengeti’s varied habitats - from acacia-studded plains to shaded riverbanks. You will have a picnic lunch in the bush while your guide will tailor the route to the seasonal movements of the Great Migration and wildlife hotspots; this will maximize your chances of spotting the Big Five. As the day cools, enjoy an afternoon game drive to observe animals preparing for nightfall. Later, you can settle in with cocktails and canapés while enjoying panoramic views. Overnight at the lodge (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner).
Day 8: Serengeti National Park (Tanzania) - Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Tanzania)
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned as one of Africa’s most spectacular safari destinations. The journey will take you through northern Tanzania’s diverse landscapes, where expansive savanna plains gradually give way to the Great Rift Valley.
During your drive, you will witness rolling farmlands, vibrant coffee plantations, and the open savanna below. Along the way, enjoy the views and seize opportunities to photograph the region’s breathtaking panoramas. The road leads to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world. From this vantage point, marvel at the views of the crater floor, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife and towering crater walls. Enjoy a picnic lunch before you ascend to the crater rim and drive to your lodge for the evening. The day concludes with a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay. (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner).

In Arusha, widely known as the “Safari Capital” of Tanzania, you’ll experience a lively blend of culture, from bustling streets to colorful local markets. After lunch, continue to the Namanga border, where you will complete immigration and customs formalities to cross from Tanzania into Kenya. You will then switch to a Kenyan safari vehicle and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of the Maasai plains and the iconic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance.
Arrival at Amboseli in the late afternoon, nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Amboseli National Park. Unwind and take in the stunning views of the park and the distant Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay in Amboseli. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)

A defining feature of Amboseli is its dry lake bed, lush green swamps fed by underground rivers originating from Mount Kilimanjaro’s melting snow. These permanent waters attract large concentrations of elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebras, and other plains game, offering endless photographic opportunities. As the day comes to an end, ascend Observation Hill, a prehistoric site offering views across the park.
