  • Day 1: USA - Rome (Italy)

    Departure flight to Rome.

  • Day 2: Rome

    Arrival at the airport in Rome. You will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to start your exploration of the Eternal City. Overnight in Rome.

    Rome captivates with its ancient ruins, elegant piazzas, and vibrant culture. From iconic landmarks and historic streets to authentic Roman cuisine and lively neighbourhoods, the city offers countless ways to discover its unique blend of history and contemporary charm.

  • Day 3: Rome

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy your I Love Rome Hop-On Hop-Off Daily Ticket and discover the Eternal City at your own pace, with the flexibility to get on and off the panoramic bus at designated stops throughout the day. Rome is a true open-air museum where ancient ruins, grand piazzas, fountains, and historic churches can be found around almost every corner.

    Discover some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. You can also continue toward Vatican City to admire St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square, while an onboard multilingual audio guide provides commentary along the way. Overnight in Rome.   • Day 4: Rome - Bari

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Rome train station to board your high-speed train toward Bari. Enjoy the journey south as you make your way to Puglia, a region known for its historic towns, distinctive white architecture, and Adriatic coastline. Upon arrival at the train station in Bari, make your way to the hotel located within walking distance from the station. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to start your exploration of the capital of Puglia. Overnight in Bari. (Breakfast)

  • Day 5: Bari

    After breakfast at the hotel, meet your tour leader and enjoy a walking tour of Bari Vecchia, the historic heart of the city. Discover its narrow streets and some of its main landmarks, including the San Nicola Basilica, the Norman-Swabian Castle, and Mercantile Square with its historic Column of Justice.

    Following the visit, enjoy free time for lunch and continue your exploration of Bari. You may take a stroll along the seafront promenade, browse the shops along Via Sparano, or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere of the historic centre at your own pace.

    In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Bari. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 6: Bari - Trani - Castel del Monte - Alberobello

    After breakfast, depart for Trani, a seaside town located on the Adriatic coast. Visit its impressive Romanesque cathedral overlooking the sea and enjoy some free time to explore the historic centre.

    Continue toward Castel del Monte, with free time for lunch along the way. In the afternoon, visit this 13th-century fortress commissioned by Emperor Frederick II. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Castel del Monte is known for its distinctive octagonal design and hilltop location.

    Continue to Alberobello, famous for its "trulli", traditional whitewashed stone houses with conical roofs that have made the town a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink with local white wine and traditional Apulian "taralli". Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Alberobello. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 7: Alberobello - Matera - Alberobello

    After breakfast, depart for Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Sassi districts. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a visit of the Sassi di Matera, ancient dwellings carved into the rock and inhabited for thousands of years.

    Walk through the historic centre and learn more about the fascinating history of this ancient city while admiring the distinctive landscape of its cave houses and churches. Following the guided visit, enjoy free time for lunch and further exploration before returning to Alberobello in the late afternoon. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Alberobello. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 8: Alberobello - Locorotondo - Ostuni - Lecce

    After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Locorotondo, one of Puglia’s characteristic white towns. Enjoy your free time to explore its historic centre, with its narrow streets and traditional white houses.

    Continue to Ostuni, also known as the “White City”, overlooking the surrounding countryside dotted with olive trees. Enjoy free time for lunch and a stroll through the historic centre.

    In the afternoon, depart for Lecce, located in the heart of the Salento region. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and have dinner there. Overnight in Lecce. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 9: Lecce - Otranto - Lecce

    After breakfast at the hotel, meet your local guide for a guided tour of Lecce. Discover the historic centre of this city renowned for its Baroque architecture, including the Cathedral, the Santa Croce Basilica, and the Duomo Square.

    Later, depart for Otranto, a seaside town shaped by Greek, Roman, and Turkish influences. Enjoy time at leisure to explore its historic centre and visit the Cathedral, known for its impressive mosaic floor.

    In the evening, continue to Masseria L’Uliveto, where you will enjoy a dinner featuring regional cuisine accompanied by a glass of wine. After dinner return to your hotel. Overnight in Lecce. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 10: Lecce - Martina Franca - Monopoli - Bari

    After breakfast, depart for Martina Franca, an elegant town located in the Valley of Itria. Enjoy some free time to explore its historic centre, characterized by Baroque churches, noble buildings, and picturesque squares.

    Continue to Masseria Montenapoleone, surrounded by the olive groves and vineyards of the Apulian countryside. Here, take part in a cooking class and learn how to prepare traditional fresh pasta such as orecchiette, cavatelli, and strascinate. Afterwards, enjoy lunch featuring your creations and a tasting of local products.

    In the afternoon, continue to Monopoli, a seaside town overlooking the Adriatic. Take some time on your own to stroll through its historic centre and along the waterfront before departing for Bari. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Evening and dinner at leisure. Overnight in Bari. (Breakfast-Lunch)

  • Day 11: Bari - USA

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Bari Airport for your flight home. (Breakfast)
