ITALY - VENICE ACCESS FEE

To help manage overtourism and preserve the city's quality of life, the Municipality of Venice requires visitors to register online and pay an Access Fee on select high-attendance days throughout the spring and summer season.

As a Wingbuddy client staying overnight in the Municipality of Venice, you are exempt from paying the fee.

However, online registration is mandatory in order to obtain a QR code of your exemption, which must be presented if requested during an inspection. 

This registration applies to clients travelling on the following packages:

• Flavors of Italy
• Flavors of Italy & Amalfi Coast
• Italy by Train
• Italy & Greece Combo

If you are travelling on another Wingbuddy Italy package, your tour guide will assist your group with registration upon arrival — no advance action is required.

• Download the QR Code and keep it accessible throughout your time in Venice

We recommend completing your registration a few days before your arrival to avoid any inconvenience.

The QR Code is required only on the following dates:

• April: 3–6, 10–12, 17–19, 24–30
• May: 1–3, 8–10, 15–17, 22–24, 29–31
• June: 1–7, 12–14, 19–21, 26–28
• July: 3–5, 10–12, 17–19, 24–26
